Help Needed After Brutal Attack!!

What Happened:
Like many others, my cousins Danny & Ethan were excited when they left the house to go trick-or-treating on Halloween night (10/31/2018). They couldn't wait to see people all dressed up in different costumes, and were discussing the different types of candy they hoped to see in the bag at the end of the night.
My cousins walked down Philadelphia Avenue, the main street in the town. When they walked past the bank, a group of approximately 15-20 people emerged from behind the building, and started to follow them. As a precaution, Danny told Ethan not to look back at the group and to keep walking. Unprovoked, the large group continued to close the gap between themselves and my cousins. As they approached Danny and Ethan from behind, Ethan heard one of the boys say he wanted the bag of candy. Ethan said no, and the brutal attack against my cousins began.
One of the group members knocked the bag of candy out of Ethan's hand, and Danny was punched in the jaw, hit in the head with a pipe, and knocked unconscious.
While on the ground, unconscious and defenseless, this vicious group continued their attack against Danny; his body was stomped and his face was slashed in several spots. The attack was still not over!
It wasn't enough that my cousin Danny was lying on the ground in a pool of blood....No... they decided to attack Ethan as well.
Ethan's arms were held behind his back, he was thrown to the ground, and stomped on by the attackers until he lost consciousness.
Injuries (UPDATE):
Danny was taken to the hospital for his injuries. His jaw was broken in three places, he needed 28 stitches to close the wounds on his face, his earlobe had to be reattached, his nose was broken, and he needed oral surgery to repair his broken jaw. Danny was operated on at Cooper University Hospital, in Camden City, NJ. They had to remove several teeth during the surgery, and discovered that an infection had set in from the time he was seen on Halloween night (AtlantiCare Trauma Unit), right after the attack, and the time the surgeon at Cooper operated. His infection is being treated with antibiotics, his jaw had to be wired shut after the bones were secured in place, and his nose was fixed. Danny can only have liquids because he is not able to chew. Unfortunately, Danny's medical insurance expired on Halloween, but by the grace of God the doctor that saw Danny a few days after the initial attack (AtlantiCare - Mainland) made phone calls to oral surgeons until he found one at Cooper that agreed to operate on him! This was truly a blessing because this doctor was determined to help us get Danny the medical treatment he needed, even though his insurance was expired (the other Oral surgeon would not even allow him to make an appointment to be seen without insurance!). THANK YOU TO THE ER DOC & THE ORAL SURGEON AT COOPER HOSPITAL. Danny will have numerous follow-up appointments relating to his injuries. He has a long road of medical treatment and healing ahead of him. After his stitches are removed, and his jaw has healed, he will need to receive dental treatment to replace the teeth that had to be removed during the surgery for his jaw. All of those trips to the doctors add up quick when you consider gas, tolls, parking fees, etc..
Ethan was also taken to the hospital. He suffered a concussion, scrapes, and bruises, and witnessed a brutal attack. Luckily, his scrapes and bruises are healing nicely, and no further medical attention for his physical injuries are needed! Ethan has Autism, so he has access to private services, and services provided through his school, to help heal the mental scars left from this incident. It was a rough few days for Ethan after the attack, but he is doing better each day.
We were all in shock when this attack happened. Especially since the people attacked did not deserve it. Danny is a sweet, caring person. He would give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. He enjoys making people laugh and smile, and jumps on the opportunity to help make someone happy. Ethan is a 15 year old child that just wanted to enjoy a night of trick or treating with his cousins.
How & Where the Funds Raised Through GoFundMe Will Be Used:
Initially, this page was created to help cover the expenses for any follow-up medical visits for Ethan or Danny. However, shortly after this page was created, we learned just how severe Danny's injuries were, and how extensive his medical treatment would need to be (as posted in the updates section of this campaign throughout the week). We thank God that Ethan's physical injuries were not life threatening, and will heal on their own without additional medical treatment. His mental health & well being is/will be treated through his insurance and services available to him and his family.
The donations received from this GoFundMe campaign, will be used to pay for Danny's care while he is healing (special foods, OTC medicine, prescriptions, caregivers, etc). It will also be used for expenses incurred from follow-up medical visits (gas, tolls, parking fees,etc.), and any additional, necessary, medical treatment (ex: dental expenses). We all know that medical treatment and follow-up care can get very costly. The money will be disbursed as expenses accrue, or as needed, to supply Danny with items necessary for his recovery and healing.
